WANTED: Von Martin Tanto aka Skyon Tonsky

Von Martin Tanto
Under President Rodrigo Duterte's administration only a handful of criminals will be given a chance to save themselves. Many of the netizens are hoping that one of the unlucky ones is Von Martin Tanto.

The Army reservist was identified as the suspect in a road rage incident in Quiapo, Manila, which claimed the life of a person and put a female student in critical condition.

"We are giving him 'til 5 P.M. today (27 July) to surrender. If not, we will order a manhunt operation (against him)," Manila Police District (MPD) Director Senior Superintendent Joel Coronel said.

Tanto was positively identified by multiple sources as the man caught on CCTV accosting Mark Vincent Garalde last 25 July. In the video, which has gone viral, the two can be seen arguing and engaging in a fight.

The man, believed to be Tanto based on the conduction number on the Hyundai Eon that the killer used, is later seen going into the car to get a gun and then repeatedly shooting Garalde.

Coronel said in a press conference that he "wants [to catch] him dead or alive." Police said the full force of the law will be used in the arrest of Tanto.

Senior Inspector Rommel Anicete, chief of MPD Homicide, earlier identified Tanto as the suspect in the shooting incident that also injured 18-year-old Rocel Bondoc.

He said Tanto is considered armed and dangerous.
