Still No Word About the Gay Kidnapper

After more than a week, the authorities have not yet revealed any development on their attempt to rescue a three-year old boy from a gay nanny.

According to the MPD-General Assignment Investigation Section, the victim’s kidnapper was identified by the parents as Esmeraldo Operario, of 2166 Calvin St., Singalong, Malate, Manila. Couple Jayson Jervoso, 30, and Jessel Lazarna, 28, told the police that their son was taken on 1 August 2014 at around 2:45 in the afternoon.

The city government of San Juan is now offering monetary reward for a man who may have raped and killed an 11-month-old baby.

At around 8:30 A.M. on Friday, 1 August 2014, the little girl was found dead and naked from the waist down under a parked passenger jeepney along Don Ejercito Street in Barangay Tibagan in San Juan City.

School's Bullying Procedure is Very Sketchy

In this country, one of the most sensitive issues confronting the students in basic education is the incidents of bullying in schools. For instance, data from the Department of Education (DepEd) for SY 2012-2013 showed that about 80 percents of child abuse incidents are acts of bullying.

Bullying is so rampant that Education Secretary Bro. Armin A. Luistro, FSC, himself admitted, in one anti-bullying forum, that he was a victim of bullying.

Very recently, the Court of Appeals clears 17 members of the Philippine National Police-Special Action Force (PNP-SAF) of two counts of murder charges in connection with the ParaƱaque robbery shootout in 2008 that killed 16 people, including two innocent people.
