Why Is CBMS Important to LGUs?

The Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Network was launched in 2002 by the Partnership for Economic Policy (PEP) Network with support from the International Development Research Centre (IDRC)-Canada and the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).

The CBMS International Network generally aims to assist its members develop, refine and institutionalize community-based monitoring systems in developing countries, and to promote CBMS knowledge and initiatives internationally.

As expected, it received angry response from leftist journalists, columnists, and organizers across LGBT media who just can't stand another gay spilling out the truth about what he believes in.

The Clinton foundation is and has been, the Clintons' greatest political and financial tool for personal advancement, and though the family collects no actual salary from the public charity, it helped build their robust political donor network, gain and maintain access to world leaders, and, most importantly, acquire paid speaking engagements—one of their greatest sources of personal revenue.

Though Hillary Clinton cut ties with the foundation in 2008 to become Secretary of State, Bill Clinton maintained his leading role on the charity's board, ensuring that his wife maintained a financial and political interest, albeit indirectly, in the foundation. In and of itself, such a setup is a prima facie example of a conflict of interest.

Emails released by WikiLeaks, belonging to Hillary Clinton, have shown that while in position as Secretary of State the presidential nominee was advised Saudi Arabia and Qatar were secretly funding Isis.

The email dates back to September 2014, when the Islamic State was almost at the height of its power. In an exchange with John Podesta, now Clinton's presidential campaign chairman, the former Secretary of State was advised to put pressure on rival Sunni nations as a necessary measure to defeat the Islamic State.

‘White Identity Retreat’ Are Being Adopted in Most Universities

After last year's protests across the country over racial inequality, more universities have welcomed warmly the idea that students should be segregated by race in clubs, diversity initiatives, housing, and conversations about race.

Come November, the University of Vermont will host a three-day "Examining White Identity Retreat" for students who self-identify as white and any students feel it is about time.
