Karmelo Anthony Charged With First-Degree Murder

After several political interventions, misdirections and delaying tactics, Karmelo Anthony has been charged with the murder of Austin Metcalf at a track meet in Frisco, Texas.

Anthony, the 17-year-old high school student who fatally stabbed Austin Metcalf, also 17, at a championship track meet in Frisco, TX, in April, has been charged with first-degree murder, according to TMZ. Anthony reportedly admitted to the stabbing but maintained that he did it in self-defense.

ICE's Worksite Enforcement Netted 80 Illegal Aliens

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and several other federal law enforcement agencies has intensified their operation and arrested more than 80 illegal migrants, including several with criminal records, during a worksite enforcement operation at a Louisiana racetrack.

The joint operation — which was carried out on 17 June — was conducted after a brief pause on immigration arrests at farms, hotels and restaurants was lifted.

Internet Celebrates US SC Ruling On Gender Treatments

Several conservative personalities on social media found a reason to celebrate after the Supreme Court upheld a Tennessee law banning gender-transition treatments for adolescents last 18 June.

In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court ruled that Tennessee's Senate Bill 1, which "prohibits all medical treatments intended to allow 'a minor to identify with, or live as, a purported identity inconsistent with the minor's sex' or to treat 'purported discomfort or distress from a discordance between the minor's sex and asserted identity,'" does not violate the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment.

64 Illegal Aliens Have Self-Deported From The U.S.

The US Department of Homeland Security reported that there were already 64 people who took a government-funded flight to their home countries as part of a new programme encouraging undocumented immigrants to "self-deport."

The initiative, dubbed "Project Homecoming", is part of President Donald Trump's sweeping crackdown on illegal immigration, which has also involved detaining hundreds of migrants in a Salvadoran mega-prison.
