Catholic Church Says No to Gays

Synod
Finally, the truth is out. No man is willing to change the law of God to suit his need and lust. Well, no Catholic man that is, which means millions of people by the last count.

That fact was clear after 200 Roman Catholic bishops, who have been discussing issues concerning the family at a special meeting known as a synod, took their final vote on a working document released on 20 October 2014.

Supreme Court
I’m not sure what it is in public office that sometime affects rationale thinking and makes elected officials loose all forms of decency and morality, but in the Philippines, that’s usually the case.

Mayon Spewed Lava

Mayon Volcano
In a report from ANC, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) confirmed that lava flow was spotted at the Mayon Volcano in Albay on 12 October 2014, though there is no reason yet to raise the Alert Status to Level 4.

"If we look at the past eruptions of the Mayon Volcano, we can classify its phases to one, non-explosive, meaning there is only quiet effusion of lava from the summit, and second, explosive eruption," said Phivolcs director Renato Solidum on ANC.
