The Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Police Department Chief Pamela Smith is being ridiculed and mocked on social media after she appeared to not understand a question from the media about the department's "chain of command" amid President Donald Trump's recent federalization of the department.

"Can you tell us what the chain of command is now?" a reporter was heard asking Smith during a press conference Tuesday morning.

"What does that mean?" the police chief responded.

Police Baffled By The Mysterious Death Of A Fashion Designer

Homicide detectives in the Hamptons are still investigating a possible murder case after a young, Irish businesswoman and swimwear designer was found dead on a yacht.

Martha Nolan O’Slatarra, 33, was found at around 12:00 A.M. 5 August on the vessel moored at the Montauk Yacht Club in East Hampton on Long Island. Club members told the New York Post that screams were heard coming from the docks late 4 August.

"They begged for that beat down!" Councilwoman Victoria Parks posted to Facebook on Sunday, 27 July at 4:50 A.M. in response to a video showing some of the brawl. "I am grateful for the whole story."

Creating mock crime scene evidence is one of the tools employed to help forensic scientists better read the stories left behind by gruesome bloodstains. To decode some of these bloody stories, all a team from North Carolina State University needed was a combination of high-speed cameras, cotton fabrics, and a bit of pig’s blood.

Findings from the recent study of how common clothing reacts to blood are detailed in the September 2025 issue of the journal Forensic Science International.

On Saturday, 21 June, a call was made to police at around 9:15 p.m. local time during the French music event Fêtes de la Musique about "syringe attacks," Metz Mayor François Grosdidier said in a social media post.

After several political interventions, misdirections and delaying tactics, Karmelo Anthony has been charged with the murder of Austin Metcalf at a track meet in Frisco, Texas.

Anthony, the 17-year-old high school student who fatally stabbed Austin Metcalf, also 17, at a championship track meet in Frisco, TX, in April, has been charged with first-degree murder, according to TMZ. Anthony reportedly admitted to the stabbing but maintained that he did it in self-defense.

Illegal Aliens Deported Back To China

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office in Dallas recently conducted a DHS operation that ended up removing 122 illegal aliens from the United States, sending them back to China aboard a "special" charter flight on 3 June.

According to a Dallas ICE press release, the group sent back included a total of 96 men and 26 women with an age range from 19 to 68, all with final orders of removal after being detained at ICE facilities across America.

Two janitors at Columbia University have filed a lawsuit against over 40 anti-Israel agitators who took over a campus building last April.

The janitors, Mariano Torres and Lester Wilson, filed the lawsuit on Friday in the Southern District of New York. On the night of 29 April 2024, the lawsuit states, Torres and Wilson were both working inside Columbia University's Hamilton Hall when a "highly coordinated mob" broke into the university building.

China has finally executed a man responsible for the heinous fatal stabbing a 10-year-old Japanese boy last September 2024, the Japanese embassy in China has told the BBC.

Zhong Changchun was sentenced to death in January for attacking the boy, who had been walking to a Japanese school in south-eastern Chinese city of Shenzhen.

Illegal Aliens Convicted Of Murder Will Be Handed The Death Penalty

A representative in Pennsylvania has just announced his plans to introduce legislation that would require the law to hand the death penalty to illegal immigrants convicted of murder.

The bill, authored by Rep. Eric Davanzo (R-Westmoreland), argued that any undocumented immigrant who receives a guilty verdict on a first-degree murder charge should be sentenced to death immediately. Davanzo wrote that he believes that "any individual who unlawfully enters this country and commits a murder should face the most severe consequences under the law."

U.S. Lower House Finally Passed The Laken Riley Act

The Laken Riley Act passed the House of Representatives last 7 January, the first piece of federal legislation approved by the 119th Congress after the House agreed to its rules for the term.

All voting Republicans supported the bill, along with 48 Democrats – more than the total left-wing lawmakers who voted for it last year. It passed on a 264 to 159 margin and will now be sent to the Senate.

Biden converted the sentences of 37 federal death row inmates to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. The inmates include people convicted in the slayings of police and military officers, as well as federal prisoners and guards. Others were involved in deadly robberies and drug deals.

Criminals in Eastern China will now find themselves face-to-face with mechanical authorities after streets are now being pattrolled by rolling robots that can chase down suspects — and, most likely, beat them in a fight.

As the South China Morning Post reports, cops in the city of Wenzhou in Zhejiang province have lately been flanked by the spherical robot that looks a bit like a militarized version of the cutesy BB-8 robot in "Star Wars."

This means, she will not hand over convicted felons to the U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE), even if they are child rapists.

ICE office in Boston still did their job. They arrested two illegal immigrants, who have been charged with forcibly raping children, and a third criminal, who was convicted of raping a child in Brazil.

There is a hologram of a woman sits behind a window in the Amsterdam’s Red Light District. It appears that she is looking out at passers-by, then appears to knock on the window and breathe on the glass. The glass seemingly fogs up, and the word "help" appears.

This hologram is modeled on Bernadett "Betty" Szabó, a 19-year-old Hungarian sex worker who was murdered in the Dutch capital in 2009. Now, more than 15 years after her death, police are hoping to uncover new information about her killing.

Hopefully, the days are numbered for child abusers, molesters and slavers as British, Australian and US police forces decided to work together in trying to break a Philippines' paedophile ring that has been streaming live scenes of child abuse over the internet, the National Crime Agency (NCA) revealed on 16 January 2014.

The NCA, which has been investigating the ring since it discovered obscene videos on a British paedophile's computer two years ago, called abuse in developing countries "a significant and emerging threat."
