BLM Supporter Knelt On A Crying Child's Neck Was Arrested

BLM Kneeling On Child's Neck
An avid Black Lives Matter (BLM) supporter was arrested for kneeling on a toddler’s neck with the photo later shared on Snapchat alongside the caption 'Blm now mf.' Isaiah Jackson, 20, is believed to be the black man in the disturbing photo, and has been arrested on suspicion of child abuse.

Sheriff’s deputies in Clark County, Ohio, began investigating him last 21 July after the distressing photo was shared widely online. It appears to depict Jackson kneeling on a white toddler’s neck. The youngster’s face appears contorted with pain in the photo. A second person whose face is out of shot can be seen holding the child’s arms behind his back.

The disturbing image’s caption – Blm now mf – stands for 'Black Lives Matter now motherfuckers.' It appears to be a reference to the horrific final moments of black security guard George Floyd, who died in Minneapolis in May after cop Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck for eight minutes 46 seconds.

Cops were alerted to the photo after it was shared online. The boy in the picture was taken to hospital. He did not suffer any physical injuries, and his mother was not aware that the snap had been taken. It is unclear how Jackson knew his alleged victim and the child's mother.

Clark County Sheriff’s Office say they are continuing to investigate the incident, and are gathering evidence agains other people – believed to be the person who held the toddler’s hands, and the person who snapped the photo.

Jackson – who was on parole when the photo was taken – has not yet been charged, with deputies set to present evidence against prosecutors to determine what crimes they think he committed. He remains in jail.
