It's not perfect, but Aquin High School, in Freeport, Ill., has devised a system to ensure that nobody will be going out on a prom date with a person of same sex. The school assigns dates to junior and senior boys at random by drawing cards with girls' names on them.

The biological boys meet in the gym to draw the names, while the biological girls sit and wait in the library until they are chosen.

Law-Abiding Teacher Suspended For Supporting the Law

A law-abiding first-grade teacher in Washington was placed on administrative leave by a conservative and pro-illegal immigrant school after she urged people on Facebook to report illegal aliens to the proper authorities.

School district officials said that Cheriese Rhode, 29, posted a message a few days ago encouraging citizens to inform Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents of those believed to be in the country without proper documentation.

After they were enable to protect the right to free speech and prevent protesters from destroying school facilities, UC Berkeley is facing the possibility of sponsor withdrawal.

Scott Adams, the East Bay-based creator of the syndicated comic strip "Dilbert," isn’t happy with his alma mater following a violent campus protests in response to a scheduled appearance by right-wing Republican Milo Yiannopoulos.

Controversial provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos announced last 4 February via Facebook that he has plans to return to Berkeley, following violent demonstrations against free speech that prompted UC Berkeley to cancel his speaking event there.

A left leaning California college professor who is obviously a Hillary Clinton supporter was caught on video calling Donald Trump's election an "act of terrorism," saying the nation had been "assaulted" – and the local teacher’s union was quick to threaten the student who made the recording once it was posted online recently.

"Our nation is divided," said Olga Perez Stable Cox, a psychology professor at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa. "We have been assaulted. It’s an act of terrorism. One of the most frightening things for me and most of the people in my life is that the people creating the assault are among us."

Univ. Illinois Scoffs at the 'Sanctuary' Idea

Despite pressure from the loudmouth illegals who doesn't even know how to sing the U.S. national anthem, the president of the University of Illinois declared that its three campuses will not legally serve as sanctuaries for immigrant students illegally living in the country.

President Timothy Killeen said last 6 December that "We must uphold state and federal laws. We cannot declare our campuses as sanctuaries, as the concept is not well specified and may actually jeopardize our institution."

Higher Education Research Institute at UCLA concluded in 2014 that 60 percent of college professors identify as "liberal" or "far left." Given that, the education watchdog aptly named ProfessorWatchlist.org created a tool that would help them make a prudent decision while signing up for classes. The team’s work is a project of the nonprofit organization Turning Point USA (TPUSA).

Currently, there are about 39 percent of LGBT Americans that were rejected by a family member or friend due to their gender identity or sexual orientation, a third of Americans think being transgender is wrong, and 41 percent say they would be upset if their child were transgender.

ACLU Asked School To Violate Its Rules

Lawyers with the American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan have sent a letter to Eastern Michigan University's president asking him to stop disciplinary proceedings against student protesters even if it was clear they violated the school regulation.

"Public universities should be places where students are encouraged to engage in the political process and where protection of the free exchange of ideas is at its zenith," the letter, dated 17 November, says. "Instead of threatening to expel these students, the University should thank them for standing up in the face of an environment of hate and working to make EMU a more welcoming place for students of color."
