The Clinton Foundation and the Clintons

Clinton Foundation
The Clinton foundation is and has been, the Clintons' greatest political and financial tool for personal advancement, and though the family collects no actual salary from the public charity, it helped build their robust political donor network, gain and maintain access to world leaders, and, most importantly, acquire paid speaking engagements—one of their greatest sources of personal revenue.

Though Hillary Clinton cut ties with the foundation in 2008 to become Secretary of State, Bill Clinton maintained his leading role on the charity's board, ensuring that his wife maintained a financial and political interest, albeit indirectly, in the foundation. In and of itself, such a setup is a prima facie example of a conflict of interest.

Despite Alleged Manipulation of Surveys, Trump is Still Ahead

Rasmussen Poll
During Breitbart News Daily with SiriusXM host Alex Marlow last 31 July, renowned political strategist Pat Caddell outlined his charge that Reuters tampered with its own daily tracking poll to manufacture a sudden surge for Hillary Clinton.

"They not only changed their formula, to put Hillary ahead. They went back and changed the results, for a week of results where Donald Trump was ahead, and then they turned those into Hillary leads," said Caddell. "They also erased all the former polling off the site. They didn't tweak their procedure – they cooked it."

Hillary Clinton: Millennials Are "Basement Dwellers"

Hillary and Bernie
The phrase "basement dweller" trended overnight and exploded all over in social media last 1 October after hacked audio appeared online of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton speaking to donors about Bernie Sanders' supporters.

The notion that Clinton would dismiss the idealism of her former rival's fans and millennial voters as lazy, misinformed youngsters who haven’t moved out of their parents’ homes conformed with many perceptions of the Democratic candidate as an out-of-touch elitist. The words "basement dweller," which she implied actually, started to trend alongside "basket of deplorables," which she really meant to denigrate the large group of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s supporters.

Hacked DNC Emails Are Just The Beginning

Jeff Weaver
If the hacked internal Democratic National Committee (DNC) emails published by WikiLeaks last 23 July is any indication, then the public should expect more damaging leakages in the coming days that could potentially doom the candidacy of Hillary Clinton.

The email leaks showed that some DNC staffers at the party hoped to undermine the presidential campaign of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders during the bitterly contested Democratic primary. The scandal that followed led to the resignation of DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., last 24 July, the eve of the party’s nominating convention. Now Sanders’ campaign manager, Jeff Weaver, says he believes the initial leaks haven’t exposed everything the DNC did to sabotage Sanders’ effort to win.

With Cruz Out, Trump is Almost There

Donald Trump
With their champion, Sen. Ted Cruz, now out of the presidential race, activist groups opposing abortion and same-sex marriage say they will bide their time and assess Donald Trump before deciding whether to back him as the Republican nominee.

During months of campaigning, Trump has made some statements about abortion and gay rights that pleased social conservatives and others that unsettled them. That inconsistency, coupled with various liberal-leaning comments he made in past years, has deprived Trump of an enthusiastic embrace by the social conservative camp.
