East Asia
Since the Netherlands became the world’s first nation to recognize same-sex marriage in 2001, the concept has spread rapidly. If Wikipedia is to be believed, at last count 16 national jurisdictions had followed suit. So had 36 U.S. states.

The concept has had its greatest acceptance in Western and Northern Europe, but parts of Latin America have not been far behind.

Trump's Popularity Rises
Unlike other American presidential hopefuls, Donald Trump is clear on how he will deal with illegal immigrants when he gets elected: get rid of them.

During the wide-ranging interview that aired on NBC’s "Meet The Press", Trump released his formal plan for immigration reform, calling for a wall across the southern border to be paid for by Mexico, the de-funding of so-called sanctuary cities and the "mandatory return of all criminal aliens" to their home countries.

Trail Life Shoud Brace for Possible BSA's Downfall

BSA's Downfall
The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) has just lifted its ban on openly gay adult leaders last 27 July, but will still continue to allow church-sponsored units to exclude gay individuals. The move was considered a compromising effort to resolve an issue that has plagued the group since the '80s and '90s, when it began explicitly banning openly gay youths and adults.

Two years ago, the Boy Scouts compromised by accepting openly gay minors while maintaining the ban on gay adults in paid or volunteer leadership roles. However, this spring BSA's president, former Defense secretary Robert Gates, said that position was no longer sustainable, as many states are passing laws that ban employment discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation.

Is Planet Fitness Not Protecting Women's Safety?

Planet Fitness Judgement
Early in March 2015, the Planet Fitness in Midland, Michigan canceled Yvette Cormier’s membership. Cormier claimed that a biological man who mentally thought he was a woman went inside the female locker room for whatever reason.

Cornier had spent several days complaining to other customers about the gym’s inclusive policy allowing the possible sex offender free access to an exclusive "for female" only facility. Planet Fitness deemed her judgmental behavior "inappropriate and disruptive to other members," but now Cormier is fighting back to protect her right by suing for over US$ 25,000 in damages.

Megyn Kelly Now Feels The Heat

Donald Trump and Megyn Kelly
It seems clear that Megyn Kelly never saw it coming. In front of national audience, Kelly showed everyone that she was was more focused on personal issues than things more relevant to a Presidential candidate during the prime time GOP debate.

A number of conservatives on social media labeled Fox News and Megyn Kelly as the real losers. A number of conservatives also made their feelings known on Facebook and Twitter after what many say were "gotcha" questions leveled at Presidential aspirant Donald Trump.
