Miss USA is Muslim No More

Everyone knows that Rima Fakih is the first Muslim to win the title of Miss USA when she was crowned the winner in 2010. However, not many are aware that she just left Islam and converted to Christianity. She even shared a verse from Philippians on Twitter very recently.

Fakih converted to Christianity last April in preparation for her marriage in Lebanon next week to Wassim Salibi, a wealthy Christian music producer, Christian Today reports.

With their champion, Sen. Ted Cruz, now out of the presidential race, activist groups opposing abortion and same-sex marriage say they will bide their time and assess Donald Trump before deciding whether to back him as the Republican nominee.

During months of campaigning, Trump has made some statements about abortion and gay rights that pleased social conservatives and others that unsettled them. That inconsistency, coupled with various liberal-leaning comments he made in past years, has deprived Trump of an enthusiastic embrace by the social conservative camp.

Police said that they have arrested the four suspected attackers, but will they be allowed in the streets again?

Anti-Immigrant Movement is Growing Strong in Germany

Last month, several thousand right-wing demonstrators marched through the streets of Berlin to protest Chancellor Angela Merkel’s open-door refugee policy, chanting "Merkel must go" and "We are the people."

Nearly 3,000 protesters carrying German flags and banners took part in a demonstration last 12 March against the German government’s migration policy. People gathered at Washingtonplatz next to the capital’s main train station and then moved in the direction of the Brandenburg Gate.

Switzerland Suspends Citizenship After Handshake Snub

A foreigner who wants to acquire the citizenship of one country legally should always ensure that they will absorb the inherent culture of the host country before they are assimilated, otherwise they should be deported back. This is a bitter lesson learned by a Syrian family who wanted to become Swiss citizens.

Switzerland just suspended the citizenship process for the family of two teenage Syrian brothers after the boys' refusal to shake hands with their female teachers for religious reasons.
