Ireland's Anti-Immigration Protest Growing Strong

Hundreds of thousands of people have taken part in an anti-immigration protest in Dublin, with a very small counter-demonstration also staged in the city centre last June.

The anti-immigration march made its way from the Garden of Remembrance to Custom House Quay.

Hungary's Face Recognition Will Be Used Against Pride Marchers

Earlier this year, Hungary’s parliament passed legislation banning Pride events and allowing the use of facial recognition technology to identify attendees. The ban is supported by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, a conservative nationalist and Us President Donald Trump's ally.

Orbán has for years decried "gender insanity" and "woke globalists," The New York Times reports, "distracting attention from Hungary’s faltering economy and revving up his right-wing rural base."

Latinos Comprise Majority Of ICE Agents

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is not a department that many expect a lot of Latinos to want to work in. In fact, many Latinos actively oppose it and are leading a movement to abolish ICE, which they see as an irredeemably racist institution.

Yet nearly 30 percent of ICE agents, and about 50 percent of Border Patrol agents in the U.S. are Latino. According to data Univision received from ICE in 2017, Latino ICE agents outnumber Black agents 2 to 1, and Asian agents by 4 to 1. White agents outnumber Latino agents by nearly 3 to 1.

Is This The "Hypocrisy" Of Prince Harry?

Several critics are lashing out at Prince Harry for his "hypocrisy" in traveling across the world, emitting tons of carbon in the process, all to promote sustainable travel.

In late May, Harry made a surprise trip to Shanghai to speak at the Envision 2025 Global Partner Conference. The Royal Observer reported that he urged the travel industry to embrace eco-friendly travel and to reach previously set goals of halving carbon pollution by 2030.

Homosexuality Is Punishable By Death In Iran And Iraq

A few years ago, former Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif endorsed the execution of gay people. He even defended his country's draconian policies at a joint press conference with then German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas in Tehran in 2019.

A reporter from German tabloid Bild asked: "Why are homosexuals executed in Iran because of their sexual orientation?"
