Trump on CNN
Real-estate developer and U.S. presidential front-runner Donald Trump wrote a letter to CNN boss Jeff Zucker on 9 September that put the news organization in a pretty tight and uncomfortable situation, which is good.

Trump called for Zucker to donate the profits from next week's presidential debate to charity.

Men Are Way Better Than Women in Military

US Military
It is official. All-male (straight and not homosexuals) military squads fared way more better than a mix-gender and all-female teams and no amount of result-altering press releases can change that.

Way back in 2013, when the US military lifted its ban on women serving in combat, extensive amount of research was done to understand the impact of women integration in the armed forces.

Sneaker Pawn Shop is a Sham?

Pawn Sham
Last year, everyone in the business community was astounded when then-16-year-old Chase Reed took his love for sneakers to the next level by selling his personal 200-pair collection to open a sneaker pawn shop. Immigration Commissioners Faces Serious Charges

Bureau of Immigration
Three former commissioners of the Bureau of Immigration (BI) in the Philippines and six others are facing charges for ordering the deportation of a convicted foreigner.

Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales found probable cause to indict former Immigration commissioners Teodoro Delarmente, Roy Almoro and Jose Cabochan for violation of Section 3(e) of Republic Act No. 3019 (Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act). It stems from the irregularities in the issuance of medical passes and Summary Deportation Order (SDO) in favor of a certain Vo Van Duc, a suspected terrorist convicted of unlawful manufacture and possession of explosives.

PHL's Commitment to Refugees

Rohingya Refugees
A few months ago, the Philippine government said that it was willing to accommodate 3,000 Rohingyas seeking refuge from political persecution. The statement came in the heels of the country's commitment to the 1951 Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees. The Philippines was also continuing a tradition of reaching out to victims of suffering all over the world.

Since May 2015, thousands of Rohingyas, Muslim migrants from Myanmar, have been going back and forth some Southeast Asian countries—particularly Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia—to flee from severe persecution, human trafficking and strong hostility in their homeland. Called as the "boat people," some Rohingyas were stuck at sea trying to find a country that would help them in their plight. Others starved while others died.

Unbearable Photo of Dead Migrant Toddler

Dead Migrant Toddler
A photograph of a toddler's lifeless body washed ashore on a Turkish beach after a migrant boat sank swept across Europe last 2 September, in a poignant image of the refugee crisis.

The images showed the little boy lying face down in the sand near Bodrum, one of Turkey's prime tourist resorts, before he was picked up by a police officer in photographs taken by the Dogan news agency.
