Critics will probably grind their teeth in frustration that despite his anti-gay comment and the loss of a endorsement deal with Nike Philippines, world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao will probably still win a seat to the country’s senate in May.

Nike, the world’s largest sportswear maker, canceled its contract with the 37 year-old boxer-turned-politician, who has been the world champion in eight different weight divisions, after he described gays as "worse than animals". So what? Their record at protecting despicable species are still well known, which is why they have not dropped Kobe Bryant yet despite his previous anti-gay slurs.

Imelda Marcos's Jewelry To Be Auctioned Off

The Philippine government has finally approved the public exhibit and auction of the jewelry collection of late dictator Ferdinand Marcos' widow Imelda, which international experts have appraised to be now worth at least 1 billion pesos (US$ 21 million), officials said last 15 February.

The hoard was seized when Marcos and his family fled to Hawaii in 1986 following a popular revolt that ended his two decades in power.

During an interview with local TV news network, Manny - who says he may run for President of the Philippines after he retires - was asked about his stance on gay marriage. He strongly condemned gay marriage - saying, "It's common sense. Will you see any animals where male is to male and female is to female?"

Indonesia is taking a stand against homofascism and western attempts to undermine their culture by clamping on the use of social media tools.

President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo was urged a few days ago to protect the rights of Indonesians not to be exposed to any gay and lesbian propaganda and he responded immediately by telling instant messaging apps to remove stickers featuring same-sex couples in the latest high-profile attempt to discourage unwanted homosexuality in the socially conservative country.

In California, Illegals Get Rewards

In California, the state is awarding criminals with driver's license. This happened last year when Assembly Bill 60 was implemented, granting people in the country illegally the right to obtain driver's licenses.

An estimated 605,000 licenses were issued under the law last year, accounting for nearly half of all new licenses, according to the California DMV. Nearly 400,000 of the licenses were issued during the first six months.
