Ed Lingao's Take on Marcos Burial At Libingan ng mga Bayani

Marcos Burial
A few days ago, Facebook suspended the account of TV5 anchor Ed Lingao opposing President Rodrigo Duterte's proposed burial of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani/. After careful evaluation, the social networking site restored the site and called the takedown a "mistake" of a member of its community operations team.

A Facebook official, informed of the issue surrounding Lingao’s posts, told InterAksyon.com: "I'm sorry for what he is experiencing. We are actively investigating this and let's please keep in close touch on this. This should not be happening and we'll keep you posted ASAP."

Milo's DePaul Event
Milo Yiannopoulos' now-infamous appearance at the DePaul University last 24 May 2016 was shut down early because of the loud, arrogant and discriminating protest by Black Lives Matter (BLM) radicals.

However, its aftershocks are still settling throughout the campus community as students struggle to reconcile their anger with the despicable ideologies of the very few rowdy students.

Whatever it is, Don't Call it Civil Rights

Raleigh Pastors
Who can say this better than those who experienced genuine discrimination and fought for civil rights during its heyday. This was made clear when about 40 preachers, mostly African-American, rallied on the State Capitol grounds last 25 May to take offense at comparing the fight for LGBT protections to the civil rights movement of the 1960s.

The idea for the rally crystalized after Clarence Henderson, one of the students who participated in sit-ins at the Woolworth’s diner in Greensboro in 1960, wrote an op-ed piece in last week’s Charlotte Observer saying it was a gross exaggeration to compare the two issues.
