A Good Chance Far-Right Could Win French Election

The poll numbers showed a barrow lead and with one of her main rivals embroiled in an expenses scandal, far-right leader Marine Le Pen could feasibly become French president in May, senior politicians and commentators say.

At the headquarters of her National Front (FN) party in Nanterre outside Paris, officials believe the same forces that led to the Brexit vote in Britain and Donald Trump's victory in the United States could carry Le Pen to power.

ICE Expands Its Scope To Target More Illegal Aliens

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) will use a much wider net to arrest undocumented immigrants, doing away with the Obama administration’s priorities that had shielded millions of people living in the U.S. illegally, lawmakers said last 17 February.

According to Democrats who met with ICE officials, the agency said that it will continue to target immigrants with criminal convictions, but that agents will now be free to arrest anyone else they encounter who is in the United States illegally, doing away with Obama administration priorities that shielded millions without criminal records from deportation.

After the threat of product boycott for spreading false news and insulting President-elect Donald Trump, PepsiCo's CEO and Chairman Indra Nooyi joined Trump's new economic advisory board.

She was named a member of the President's Strategic and Policy Forum, it was announced last 14 December, alongside Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Travis Kalanick, chef executive of Uber.

President Donald Trump wasted no time correcting the excessive and immoral measures adopted by his predecessor after he ended federal protections for transgender students that instructed schools to allow them to use bathrooms and locker rooms matching their gender identities.

Bringing back common sense into the national debate, the administration came down on the side of states' rights, lifting federal guidelines that had been issued by the Obama administration and characterized by many as a legal overreach.

Law-Abiding Teacher Suspended For Supporting the Law

A law-abiding first-grade teacher in Washington was placed on administrative leave by a conservative and pro-illegal immigrant school after she urged people on Facebook to report illegal aliens to the proper authorities.

School district officials said that Cheriese Rhode, 29, posted a message a few days ago encouraging citizens to inform Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents of those believed to be in the country without proper documentation.
