Monkeypox Among Gays
The World Health Organization (WHO) has now confirmed nearly 100 cases of monkeypox in over a dozen countries, with the largest number in the UK. Most of the cases so far are among gay and bisexual men.

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) reported the first case in the current outbreak on 7 May in a man who had recently travelled to Nigeria, where monkeypox is endemic. This was soon followed by two additional cases who share a household and four cases among gay and bisexual men, all of whom appear to have contracted the virus locally. As of 23 May, UKHSA has reported 70 confirmed cases in England and one in Scotland.

A mother from Minneapolis was captured on a phone video confronting Black Lives Matter (BLM) activists who congregated in her neighborhood to protest for the sake of protesting a justified police shooting of a gunman, who tried to kill her and her children.

Arabella Foss-Yarbrough called police last 13 July after neighbor Andrew "Tekle" Sundberg allegedly fired his gun into her home as she cooked her kids dinner, leaving bullet holes in her front door, walls and above her bathroom sink, photos show.

Transgender Prisoner Who Impregnates Two Women Inmates Moved To Youth Correction Facility

NJ Advance Media reported that a transgender inmate who impregnated two women while incarcerated at Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women has been moved to a new facility, according to the Department of Corrections.

Demi Minor, 27, was transferred to Garden State Youth Correctional Facility, a prison for young adult offenders in Burlington County, last month, Dan Sperrazza, a Department of Corrections spokesman, said.

Monkeypox Is Widespread Among Men Having Sex With Men (MSM)

The number of new monkeypox cases was observed to have risen rapidly in the United States and more than 50 other countries, Florida's case count alone is surgingto 73 as of 7 July, the third most of any state, after California and New York, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. There were 700 confirmed U.S. cases, the CDC said.

Most Americans diagnosed with monkeypox are middle-aged, with more than 70 petrcent of cases occurring in people between the ages of 35 and 54, according to the Health Department. They usually acquired the disease in the country, as opposed to coming here from elsewhere with the virus, according to the department’s disease repository.

The top administrative court of France has just ruled against allowing body-covering "burkini" swimwear in public pools for religious reasons, arguing that it violates the principle of government neutrality toward religion.

While worn by only a small number of people in France, the head-to-ankle burkini draws intense political debate in the country.
