If one looks at the number of rapes, however, the increase is even worse. In 1975, 421 rapes were reported to the police; in 2014, it was 6,620. That is an increase of 1,472 percent.

Why Is Men's Soccer Better Than Women's Game?

Women's Soccer
Feminism is laudable when taken into context, but it becomes unbearable when it tries to ignore all facts just to get to their point.

For instance, supporters of the Women’s World Cup decry at the way the world governing body, FIFA, has treated the women's game. Their main beef concerns the artificial turf fields; competing teams staying in the same hotels and lastly, a prize money pool one-third of what their male counterparts had available in Brazil a year ago. It seems it's all about the money.

Awesome Body and Perfect Response to Haters

Perfect Barbie
A beautiful life and a perfect body always attract jealousy and contempt from those who are probably fat and are overweight. This is what happened when "Human Barbie" Valeria Lukyanova posted brand-new photos of herself via Facebook last week to welcome spring. In her latest seasonal shoot, the Internet sensation — famed for her porcelain face, Barbie-like proportions, and controversial quotes — appeared even ‘more perfect’ than usual. The Eastern European model showed off her uber-tiny physique in a too-small navy bustier bra and skimpy faded shorts.

Groom Tried to Kill Self Because Bride is "Ugly"

Suicidal Groom
There is a reason why arrange marriages will not favor ... men. If most young women thought that their basic right is being violated by this century-old practice, then men should sympathize with them, especially those that do not like their future wife's appearance.

This was the case of a Chinese groom who went to the extreme just because he thought that the woman he was about to spend his life with was "ugly." He tried to drown himself even before the marriage ceremony was officially closed and told the bride that she was 'too ugly' before running away.

Thigh Gap is Still Hot, Mons Pubis is Next

Thigh Gap
Contrary to what some fat and overweight models claim, ‘thigh gap’ trend is still much fashionable and much more sought after body shape. As Stanley Tucci’s character declared in 2006’s "The Devil Wears Prada," "size zero is the new two, size two is the new four and size six is the new 14."

The Urban Dictionary website describes ‘thigh gap’ in no uncertain terms as "the gap between a woman's thighs directly below the vagina, often diamond shaped when the thighs are together."

Demand Will Continue for Skinny Models

No Fat Models Please
Halyley Pheylan’s article in Yahoo! Style claims that the modelling industry is changing by hiring more blacks, biracial, Asian, transgendered and not skinny models. Well, she couldn’t be more wrong.

Everything should be put in the proper context first. The modelling industry is not here to represent the society’s diverse spectrum of beauty. It is here to represent what the majority of the population wants and at the same time generate sales. This means, it will continue to favourably employ thin and white teenage girls that epitomize high-end beauty.

Men Prefers Supermodel Beauty

Non-Traditional Models
According to sociologist Cliff Hillard, "More and more, men today find themselves bombarded with un-retouched images, and with that comes the considerable mental burden of trying to reconcile what they see in these ads and magazines with their personal perceptions of beauty."

Hillard, who studies attainable ideals of female attractiveness in the media and how they can create an overly realistic sense of what women ought to look like added that "For most men, it's very discouraging. Instead of seeing only rail-thin models, they’re now exposed to accurate representations of women whose proportions mimic those of actual human females."
