China Harassed Vessels At The West Philippine Sea

Last 25 January, the Philippines suspended a scientific survey in the West Philippine Sea after two of its fisheries vessels faced "harassment" and aggressive behaviour from China's coast guard and navy.

Manila and Beijing have had a series of escalating confrontations in disputed waters of the South China Sea. China claims almost all the strategic waterway - through which US$ 3 trillion in commerce moves annually - overlapping sovereignty claims by the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam.

According to the police advisory in Connecticut, there is a rampant new scam circulating that's taking aim at E-ZPass users.

A number of residents have already reported they've recently received a text message telling them they have unpaid tolls due and subsequently asking them to click the link to pay it.

Conservative commentator and former TV host Megyn Kelly had an epic rant last 14 January after she ripped into the Los Angeles Fire Department, calling for the firing of "obese lesbian" firefighters.

"I believe I speak for all females in Los Angeles when I say we want a strong man to rescue us," Kelly said on her podcast, "The Megyn Kelly Show".
