Outdoor Preservation Partnership with TLUSA

Trail Life USA (TLUSA) takes another major step in building its outdoor adventure program by announcing a partnership with Tread Lightly!. Together, Tread Lightly! and TLUSA will promote outdoor education, awareness, and habitat restoration projects that will preserve wilderness lands and teach environmentally friendly practices for all outdoor activities.

"Our partnership will teach outdoor stewardship and provide lasting benefits to our communities," said Mark Hancock, Chief Operating Officer of TLUSA. "'To be a good steward of creation’ is a key tenet of our Trailman Oath."

Thanks for the Apology, But No Thanks

If Philippines do not have public officials that are aware of Republic Act No. 6713 otherwise known as the "Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees," then this country is really in trouble.

How can anybody in government service fail to uphold the basic tenets of the law and even had the gall to justify their behavior that contradicts it. Not all public service employees are guilty, but one particular case was brought to the limelight after the spouse revealed the blatant violation of the law.

Cyberbullying is defined as a type of bullying that takes place using electronic technology. Electronic technology usually includes devices and equipment such as cell phones, computers, and tablets as well as communication tools including social media sites, text messages, chat, and websites.

Examples of cyberbullying include mean text messages or emails, rumors sent by email or posted on social networking sites, and embarrassing pictures, videos, websites, or fake profiles.

Is This The Camarines Norte Governor?

When we reported earlier that Josefina Tallado left her husband, Camarines Norte Gov. Edgardo Tallado, after confrontation over an alleged nude photos, we were not sure that there will be an incriminating evidence to support that allegation.

A day later, social media found itself acting as the supplier of evidence when a alleged photo of the Governor was posted smiling and kissing an unnamed almost naked female companion.

Palawan Tops The List of Fave Islands
